Makeup Geek Prom Night Eyeshadow

Hello! This is my 2nd post in my Makeup Geek Eyeshadow reviews and today's review is Prom Night. (I am sorry that my pan is a bit bashed up I dropped it right before taking the picture!! Typical!) You can see my first post on Makeup Geek Sensuous Eyeshadow here.

Prom Night is described by Makeup Geek as a pale purple with hints of grey and a shimmery finish and it really does not disappoint! It is one of those shadows that can be used alone as well as blended with other shadows. Just like the Sensuous Eyeshadow it is highly pigmented and goes on beautifully!

Again such a beautiful shadow from Makeup Geek! My next post will be on Makeup Geek Graphite Eyeshadow!

Makeup Geek Sensuous Eyeshadow

Hey lovelies :) My next few posts are going to be all about Makeup Geek Eyeshadows! I have only just found Makeup Geek and have purchased 4 shadows so will be telling you all about them!

Makeup Geek is a makeup brand from the USA which was created by Marlena who is just incredible! Marlena's makeup skills are just amazing and she has brought out a makeup range that everyone NEEDS!!

I have only recently found Makeup Geek, one of my best friends makeup always looks amazing and she kept showing me her Makeup Geek Eyeshadows (she has nearly all of them :O) and I knew I had to try them! Makeup Geek ships worldwide and their shipping prices are very reasonable!

The first shadow I am going to talk about is Sensuous, Makeup Geek describe Sensuous as a shimmery Purple with flecks of Silver and omg its beautiful! The shadow is so highly pigmented that a little really does go a long way, it is so soft and goes on perfectly! Even with my watery eyes this shadow lasts all day and does not fade.

I brought my shadows in pans but you can also buy them in compacts, the pans are magnetic so sit perfectly in Z Palette's. When you buy the pans they come in little cardboard pouches that have beautiful artwork.

I love Sensuous and have fallen in love with Makeup Geek!

Keep your eyes peeled for my next post which will be Makeup Geek Prom Night Eyeshadow.

Urban Decay Chase Eyeshadow

On my recent trip to my local Urban Decay counter I knew I wanted to try one of their single shadows and knew I wanted a gold/brown one. However I wanted a shadow which was not in any of the Naked Palettes as I am planning on purchasing them soon so I spent a good half hour swatching all the colours and in the end I fell for this beauty!

Chase it the most perfect gold and the shadow is so soft it goes on and blends like a dream. Chase sits in the most beautiful packaging - I love Urban Decay packaging and think that their products defiantly look the best over all the other brands!

How I usually wear Chase is with Urban Decay Foxy as a base, then I apply Chase all over the lid and apply Urban Decay Crave in the crease. I also use Urban Decay Perversion Waterproof Eye Pencil to line and flick.

If you are looking for a gold shadow then I would definitely recommend Chase!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

I have always wanted the Urban Decay Naked Palettes but have not yet purchased so when I saw the basics at my local counter I knew I needed it! I feel that this palette is my first step into the lovely nakedness!

I love this palette! It contains everything you need to create a every day look which can be taken into night using the one palette, I use this every single day.

The palette contains 6 shadows:

Venus - Satin shimmery white which is perfect for highlighting.
Foxy - Matte yellow beige.
Walk of Shame - Matte pink nude.
Naked 2 - Matte light brown/taupe.
Faint - Matte medium brown.
Crave - Matte dark brown almost black.

The shadows are so soft and blend like a dream! Everyday I tend to go for Walk of Shame all over the lid with Faint in the crease and feel like its a great everyday look.

The packaging is beautiful and comes with a big mirror in the lid which is very handy for touch ups!

I am so glad I brought this palette and it has most definitely made me want all 3 of the Naked Palettes.

If you don't own this palette then GO BUY IT!!!!

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara

Ok I will admit it I only brought this mascara because is was pink and shiny BUT I am so happy I picked it up because I love it! I am very picky with mascaras as I have naturally long eyelashes which  means certain mascaras can just clump them and make them look awful!! The Miss Manga mascara comes in 3 colours black, purple and blue. I picked up the black because I didn't think I could get away with purple and blue lashes but I have seen a few pictures of people wearing the purple and it does look quite nice, so may have to pick this up!

This mascara goes on so well and does not clump and even at the end of the day there is no smudging or clumping off! It is really easy to remove with a eye makeup remover, and just looks gorgeous on your dressing table! I feel that this mascara makes my eyelashes look amazing ( if I do say so myself! :) )

Overall I love this mascara and will definitely be repurchasing!

Have you tried Miss Manga? Which mascara is your fav?
